Gatherings
Our gatherings will take place at Brew Merchant in Holland, MI. They will last about an hour. People are welcome to come early and stay after. Beverages will be available for purchase.
We are open to suggestions for future gatherings, but possibilities include: “God After God,” “Discovering Whiteness,” “Deconstructing Gender,” Consciousness and the Self,” “Deconstructing Jesus,” “Deconstructing the Bible,” “Stages of Faith,” “White Christian Nationalism,” “Ask Us Anything,” “How to Have an Enemy”.
Josh and Marlin will use a variety of resources at the gatherings: music, podcasts, TikToks, meditations, poems, conversations, stories, and anything else we can imagine. We hope to bring in guests to enrich our gatherings with their wisdom and expertise.
Josh and Marlin also intend to hold town hall gatherings in which we discuss a podcast episode, book, topic, or current event. These events will happen in addition to the monthly gatherings. These town hall gatherings will begin in January 2023 and happen intermittently, depending on interest.
